Carlos Moreno
Carlos Moreno, MPA, is a client advocate at 9b Corp, where he helps communities and purpose-driven organizations leverage data and measure impact. His work combines his dual backgrounds as a marketing professional in the nonprofit sector and as a leader of Tulsa’s Code for America Brigade.
Carlos is also a local historian and journalist in Tulsa and the author of two books: The Victory of Greenwood and A Kids Book about the Tulsa Race Massacre. In 2014, he was recognized by the national urban-affairs magazine Next City as part of its Vanguard Class. In 2015, he earned certification in Human-Centered Design through IDEO and +Acumen.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Administrative Leadership (2017) and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) with a focus on civic technology (2020), both from the University of Oklahoma. Carlos currently serves on the boards of Tri City Collective, Urban Coders Guild, and the World Stage Theatre Company.
