Rachel Box

Always striving to become immersed within a collaborative atmosphere while holding onto the desire to make positive contributions within the community, Box has found a fulfilling path through providing administrative support for the Black Heritage Tree Project. She has a bachelors of science in History and Historic Preservation from Eastern Michigan University and a graduate certificate in Archival Administration from Wayne State University. In 2015, Box started work as an administrative assistant, and worked her way up to becoming the Executive Assistant to the VP of Purchase for a national title insurance company. Now, the experience as an assistant, education in archiving, and passion for history have a rare chance to collide.
